By end of 2022, SUSTech has 106 scientific research platforms (99 on natural sciences and 7 on humanities and social sciences), including three national-level research platforms,34 of provincial and ministerial level, 69 of municipal level: one National Center for Applied Mathematics Shenzhen, one National Wild Scientific Observation and Research Station, one Ministry of Ecology and Environment Key Laboratory, one Ministry of Education (MoE) Engineering Research Center, one MoE Key Laboratory, two Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Joint Laboratories, eleven Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratories, one Guangdong Provincial Wild Scientific Observation and Research Station, ten University Key Laboratories of Guangdong Province, one Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao University Joint Laboratory, one Gruandong Provincial Engineering Research Center, two Engineering Technology R&D Centers of Guangdong Province; one Guangdong Laboratory (Shenzhen Branch), two Guangdong Humanities and Social Science Popularization Base, three Shenzhen Nobel Laureate Labs, forty-four Shenzhen Municipal Key Laboratories, six Shenzhen Municipal Engineering Laboratories, six Shenzhen Municipal Engineering Research Centers, one Shenzhen Basic Research Institution, one Industry Chain Collaborative Innovation Public Service Platform, five Municipal Key Research Bases for Liberal Arts, one Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base in Shenzhen, and two Key Laboratories of Nanshan District.
