Dr. LIU Keting is a full-time teacher and lecturer at the Arts Center. She graduated from Odessa State Conservatory of Music, Ukraine, with a doctorate in piano performance and a doctorate in musical arts.
She learned piano at the age of 4, and has studied at Wuhan Conservatory of Music, Lysenko Music School and Odessa State Conservatory of Music in Ukraine. She received her master's degree in piano performance, piano accompaniment, chamber music and music education in 2009, and received her doctorate in musical arts of piano performance in 2018. As a piano soloist and concertmaster, she has given numerous solo and chamber music concerts in Italy, China, USA, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Japan and Korea. She has also served as the artistic director of the Lucca Opera Festival in Italy and the Miami Classical Music Festival.
Dr. LIU was awarded the First Prize in the teacher's category of the Shenzhen Double Piano Invitational Competition, the Best Steel Accompanist in the National Peacock Cup Vocal Music Exhibition of Higher Art Colleges, the First Prize in the Crimea South TV Competition (piano) in Ukraine, the second prize in the International Piano Competition in Kramilis, Czech Republic, and the Excellent Prize in the chamber music category of the "21st Century Art" International Young Performers.
